Tucked away in the lush highlands of Jarabacoa, this rare peaberry coffee comes from a single estate dedicated to quality and care. Grown at 1300 meters above sea level, the Red Caturra varietal produces a cup that is mellow and smooth, with a creamy body and balanced elegance.
Peaberries are a natural mutation where only one small, round bean forms inside the coffee cherry instead of the usual two. This denser bean roasts more evenly and delivers a concentrated flavor experience. We roast this bean just before the second crack which allows the full flavor of the peaberry to be released without the oily finish of a dark roast.
In the cup, expect warm almond tones up front, followed by a sweet, vanilla soymilk finish. A gentle note of sweet orange cream lingers, making each sip smooth, bright, and satisfying.
